28th November 2014 – Squad News

Martin ‘hitman’ Harty has brought to an end his second spell at Kingshill due to injury and family commitments. The popular utility man will be missed by everyone at the club and we wish him well for the future. Don’t be a stranger now Martin !
Goalkeeper Paul Smith and defender Andrew Cockrell have also been released by the club. We’d like to thank both for their efforts for the Wanderers this season and wish them good luck with their future careers.

22nd November 2014 – Glasgow Perthshire 0 Forth Wanderers 2

A fine team performance this afternoon saw the Wanderers return from Keppoch Park with all three points after beating Glasgow Perthshire 2-0.
A first half Jamie Lindsay strike was added to early in the second half by Jason Corbett to record a fully deserved victory. New keeper Paul McKane made an assured debut,although in truth he had little to do.

21st November 2014 – Keeper Paul McKane Signs on Loan

The Wanderers have signed goalkeeper Paul McKane on loan until the end of the season from Shotts Bon Accord. Paul previously played for Cliftonville,Carrick Rangers,Airdrie and Forfar.

15th November 2014 – Forth 3 Vale of Leven 5

Despite a Chris Lennon hat-trick, the Wanderers lost 5-3 to 10 man Vale of Leven at Kingshill Park this afternoon. It was a poor performance from Forth with the Vale running out deserved winners in the end.

13th November 2014 – Andrew Gilchrist Transfer Listed

Midfielder Andrew Gilchrist has been transfer listed at his own request and the club will now listen to offers for him.

9th November 2014 – Johnstone Burgh 2 Forth 2

Forth drew 2-2 with Johnstone Burgh in somewhat testing conditions at Keanie Park this afternoon. Two Jason Corbett goals either side of half time put the Wanderers in control but 10 man Burgh rallied well and scored two goals in the last 15 minutes to earn a deserved draw.

6th November 2014 – Supporters Trust Re-activated

Club Treasurer Stuart Smith has advised that he now has forms available for those wishing to assist the club financially through a monthly direct debit/standing order. The Trust account will now be run alongside the Football Club account. The Trust funds were invaluable in allowing us to run a bus to Port Glasgow last season and also in purchasing the smart new tracksuits the players are wearing this season. Forms can be obtained from Stuart or any committee member.

2nd November 2014 – Cambuslang 3 Forth 2

Forth lost 3-2 to Cambuslang at Somervell Park yesterday afternoon in a game in which they undoubtedly deserved something from. However, a needless sending off for Kris Dick gave the hosts an advantage and despite first half goals from Ian Harty and Chris Lennon, the Wanderers fell to defeat.
