A late Jordan Smith goal rescued a point for the Wanderers this afternoon after Port Glasgow had recovered from an early Bryan Felvus goal to lead 2-1.
3rd September 2013 – Coupar Angus at Home in the Scottish
Forth have been drawn at home to Coupar Angus in the 1st round of the Scottish Junior Cup. The tie will be played at Kingshill Park on Saturday 28th September.
24th August 2013 – Royal Albert 1 Forth 4
Forth recorded a fine 4-1 victory away to Royal Albert at Tileworks Park this afternoon. The Wanderers played some excellent football and were rewarded with goals from John Watson,Bryan Felvus,Yamikani Misanjo and Jordan Smith.
24th August 2013 – Forth 1 Wishaw 2
Forth lost 2-1 to Wishaw at Kingshill Park this afternoon. Jordan Smith gave Forth an early lead before goals from Chris Gordon and Kevin Grant gave the visitors the points in a game peppered with some perplexing refereeing decisions.
17th August 2013 – Vale of Clyde 3 Forth 1
Vale of Clyde defeated Forth by 3 goals to 1 at Fullarton Park this afternoon, despite Yamikani Misanjo notching the opener for the Wanderers within a minute of the start.
12th August 2013 – Forth 1 Newmains 0
Forth narrowly defeated Newmains by one goal to nil this evening at Kingshill Park, Andrew Gilchrist notching the goal 9 minutes from time. The Wanderers were once again much changed from the side which faced Carluke, as the management team continued to ring the changes ahead of the first league fixture on Saturday.
10th August 2013 – Forth 2 Carluke 2
Forth and Carluke fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Kingshill Park this afternoon,the Wanderers goals coming from Tony Traynor and an own goal. A pleasing performance from the Forth considering they had to play the majority of the match with 10 men after keeper JC Hutchison was sent off.
7th August 2013 – Wishaw 2 Forth 0
Forth lost 2-0 to Wishaw at Beltane Park this evening, the hosts goals coming from former Wanderer Chris Gordon and Barry Eley in the first half. The Forth team was much changed from the one that drew with Shotts, as manager Chris McGroarty continued to run the rule over several trialists and gave game time to those not involved on Monday.
7th August 2013 – Further Signings
Manager Chris McGroarty brings his number of summer signings to six with the capture of Dean McLean and Andrew Gilchrist. Skilful midfielder Andrew was previously with Airdrie United 19′s whilst Dean was most recently at Celtic Boys Club and also had a short spell at local rivals Lanark United. We welcome both to the club and wish them every success at the Forth.
5th August 2013 – Shotts 3 Forth 3
Forth drew 3-3 with Shotts at Hannah Park this evening in an entertaining Sectional League Cup encounter. John Watson gave the Wanderers the lead in the first half and an excellent Chris Lennon strike and a Yamikani Misanjo penalty in the second half ensured Forth left with a share of the spoils.
3rd August 2013 – Forth 2 Overtown Hearts 0
An experimental Forth side defeated Overtown Hearts 2-0 in a friendly at Kingshill Park this afternoon. The Wanderers goals came from a great individual strike from Tony Traynor and a close range shot from one of the numerous trialists on show. Forth had to play the majority of the game with 10 men after Traynor was sent off for an off the ball incident early on but although Overtown enjoyed plenty of possession Glenn Weir in the Forth goal was rarely troubled. Yamikani Misanjo almost made it three near the end but his shot rebounded from the post.
Forth drew 2-2 with Lanark in an absorbing game at a rainy Kingshill Park this evening. Goals from Tony Traynor and Yamikani Misanjo gave the Wanderers a 2-0 interval lead but the Yowes came roaring back in the second half to deservedly take a share of the spoils. Forth manager Chris McGroarty again gave the majority of his squad a run out in preparation for the start of the competitive action.
Forth lost 4-1 to Blackburn United at New Murrayfield Park this afternoon. The hosts took the lead on the stroke of half-time and added two goals in three minutes just after the hour mark. Trialist Gilchrist pulled a goal back for the Wanderers with a neat finish but United confirmed the victory with a last minute header.
Forth lost 4-1 to Lesmahagow in the Clydesdale Cup semi-final at Kingshill Park tonight, Bryan Felvus netting the Wanderers solitary goal. The visitors were deservedly a goal ahead at half-time and increased their lead soon after the restart but the Wanderers fought back to make it 2-1 and had a couple of decent chances before the ‘Gow sealed the victory with two late goals.
The Wanderers began their pre-season with a narrow 3-2 defeat to Darvel at Recreation Park this afternoon. Yamikani Misanjo scored both Forth goals in an entertaining game and manager Chris McGroarty ran the rule over several trialists during the match. 19th July 2013 – Let The Football Commence
The Wanderers begin season 2013/14 with a visit to Ayrshire tomorrow to take on Darvel Juniors in a friendly. The match at Recreation Park has a 2pm kick off. Twitter updates from the match will appear on this site with a report to follow.

Thanks to the perseverance of David Forbes, a Supporters fundraising account has been setup allowing those from far and near who wish to contribute to the Wanderers through a monthly direct debit/standing order to now do so. Suffice to say, all monies raised will go directly into the running of Forth Wanderers with contributors having a say in how exactly the funds will be used. Craig Crawford and Chris Gordon have both left the club to join Wishaw Juniors. We wish Craig, who had been with the Wanderers for 7 seasons, and Chris every success at their new club.
10th July 2013 – Jordan Smith Signs
The Wanderers are delighted to announce that the vastly experienced former Rob Roy and Pollok defender Jordan Smith has tonight put pen to paper and become manager Chris McGroarty’s fifth summer signing. A clear statement of intent for the season ahead, we welcome Jordan to Kingshill.
4th July 2013 – Signing News
Manager Chris McGroarty has made his first signings as Wanderers boss, adding four players to his squad last night. Striker Bryan Felvus returns to the club after a spell at Kilsyth while former Ayr trainee Robbie Brown and former Annan midfielder John Watson have also joined the club. The signings are completed by ex Celtic under 21 player Chris Lennon. We welcome all four to Kingshill Park and look forward to seeing them in action.

24th June 2013 – Clydesdale Cup Dates Announced
Forth host Lesmahagow at Kingshill Park on Tuesday 23rd July in the Clydesdale Cup semi-final. Carluke meet Lanark at the John Cumming Stadium the previous evening in the other semi. The final will be played at either Carluke or Lanark on Monday 29th July.
22nd June 2013 – First Pre-Season Friendly at Darvel
Forth will start their pre-season preparations with a trip to face Darvel at Recreation Park on Saturday 20th July, ko 2pm.
