17th December 2016 – Forth Wanderers 3 Rossvale 3

The Wanderers drew 3-3 with Rossvale at Kingshill this afternoon in a game notable for four penalties being awarded.
The visitors were the better side in the first half and could have been further ahead than 1-0 at the interval, especially as they missed a penalty 5 minutes from the break. Forth came flying out the traps at the start of the 2nd half however and equalised through a Barry McGeechan penalty. McGeechan was then twice denied by magnificent stops by the ‘Vale keeper before Craig Gupwell saw a netbound header cleared from the line. The pressure told however when Kevin Bradley netted his first goal for the club. Rossvale then equalised from the penalty spot before a rare Wullie McLaren header restored the Forth advantage, only for ‘Vale to equalise in the 89th minute, again from the penalty spot, to complete the scoring.
